-previous owners had head and tranny totally rebuilt, so there are even less than the 111,xxx miles on them
-dc sports cat back
-short shifter adapter
-generic cai
-skunk2 coilovers
-powerslot rotors
-aem pads
-proform shift light
-aftermarket motor mount inserts
-new 6 1/2 3 ways all around
-new plugs, wires, and distributor
-bridgestone potenza tires(badass tires imo) w/ about 75% tread left
-many many extra parts

-whats not so good-
-clear coat on sunroof if coming off
-very small rust spot on right rear 1/4 panel
-currently is in limp mode. i have been dealing directly with a mechanice at honda, and he said it needs new coolant temp sensor and switches($130 for all 4 from honda)he said they are tricking the ecu into thinking the engine is not warmed up yet.

i am somewhat open to trades. i could do a partial trade for a nice ef crx, da, s13, almost any 600cc sport bike, or ??. i am open to other ideas too, so just ask.
the reason i am selling this is to get a daily driver while i build my supra, and im getting into get into bikes.

well, am in the midwest and would consider your car. however, i dont understand the whole "limp mode" thing? i am a mechanic and never heard of a car going into limp mode. if a the PCM doesnt see a ECT (engine coolant temp)signal, there are many things it could do, and most PCM's have a pre-determined strategy for situations like this. how does the car actually run? what is different about it compared to one with a normal operating ECT sensor? i am in the midwest, central IL., so would be easy for us to make a transaction. lemme know, and hook me up with pics. thanks

this is what the guy at indy honda told me: the mechanic there said he even called the "honda hotline" that all the mechanics call to get help. he said if the ect is not working properly, then it is going to trick the ecu into thinking that the car is not warmed up yet. the ecu does not realize that the ect isnt working, and therefore is not going to throw a cel.
the way it actually drives is, vtec doest seem ot kick in, and the rev limiter hits at 6400rpm, so its evident that it is in limp/reserve/bonerless mode...haha....whatever you want to call it.
from honda, the 2 ct switches, the sensor, and the sending unit that goes to the temp gauge are $130. again, those are oem.

did you find out if that has a clear title or salvaged? you said its been wrecked, and anyone on here who would buy it would surely wanna know the history, and title condition!

the title says its a clean title, and doesnt say salvage or anything. the people i bought it from said it was a fender bender in a parking lot......bump....remember, will do a partial trade for 600cc bike or ef crx.......
