Your clutch won't even last 20k? My stock clutch has 200k.

if the original owner who i bought my 91 da from isn't lying, my stock clutch has gone 170k. so a stock clutch will last long you a long time.
i heard and read that kevlar clutch disks last forever almost. dont know of the price tho

one thing is for sure... if your flywheel needs to be machined it wont last very long at all. you guys should see the fw and clutch that came off my car before the itr fw and action 2md went in... i hear this 2md i bought lasts 2.5+ years in a high school kids car lol. they are known for their longevity.
Action Clutch makes really good clutchs, I have had the 2MD in my car for about 15k and its been great under tons of abuse. You may be interested in the 2KS:

My factory LS clutch/flywheel had 120K miles when I replaced it early(wasn't slipping yet). I replaced it with a factory Type R clutch and flywheel and that setup has 100K miles. Both setups have seen their fare share of autocross events. Dan GSR is right the longevity has more to do with driving style then clutch material.

I have an exedy organic kit and love it.</TD></TR></TABLE>
exedy unity discs are the stock ones.
kevlar requires about a 1500 mile break-in. but they last so long and are so gentle on the FW so i hear from action... action kevlar cluthc is the way to go.
ATS carbon also comes wiht a carbon steel lightweight FW. http://www.a-t-s-usa.com/ats-p...shtml
