I did search already. I already messed with idle screw. This did nothing. This idle is bad it goes from 700 to 3000. I just recenttly put my h22 throttle body on. It hasnt had no problems till now. I was using my f22 throttle body for cruise control. What should i check or could i have a blown head gasket.

 

sounds like a harsh problem. i would be scared if my idle went even to 2k rpm. lol

 

you might wanna check the IACV (idle air control valve) and if your throwing a check engine light you might wanna check the map sensor

 

I had the same prob with my 95 ex. the iacv (idle air control valve) on the back of the intake manifold was bad. replaced and all good for there.

I took off the throttle body and then took off that gold plate. I dont know what it was called but it was loose inside their. I tightend that with a flat head it had some sort of spring loaded ball. This fixed the idle that was 700-3000. Everything was fine now i am getting a erratic idle of 700-1200. What should i check now.

 

I just did the piece of metal over the two holes on the iavc and it idles perfect now. Thanks for responses.
