okay... i got my z6 block and gude z6 head in. with a y8 cam. the timing is set right... and im using a y8 distributor, theres fuel, its getting air... but its not sparking... when i test the plugs with a screw driver it sparks... but when i stick the spark plug in it and try to test it... theres no spark. help??? could it be because the CKF sensor isnt hooked up? i just bought a obd2a -> obd1 harness so the CKF sensor wouldnt need to be used... i dont get why its not starting... it just sits there and the starter is turning and the motor is cranking... it doesnt even sputter. im waiting on the harness then im gonna buy a gude dynamite cam and ecu from the guy i got the head from. and then see if the car starts... i think the Y8 cam just gave me trouble.
oh yea.. its a 97 civic ex.
