Default how do i remove a layer from OEM head gasket?

How do i go about doing this? Do i drill out the rivets holding it together? If so will the head still seal properly with those rivets missing?

you can do it but just spend the extra $20 on an aftermarket 2 layer.

more like $70. OEM headgaskets are only about $50.

its easy, you dont need to drill out the copper rivets either. Just squeeze them and bend them out of the way, you will see, they are sooo soft, u can literally use ur finger nails.
