6th Gen V6 Performance Mods?
I Have a friemd that just got a 00 V6 Accord and he is looking for some information on motor mods that he could get done just to do some simple upgrades on power. Here's what he wants so far:
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
Comptech Headers
Catback Exhaust (GReddy or Comptech)
AEM Pulley Set.
He was curious to know of what kinds of internal mods are able to be done for the v6 motor? Cams, stroker kits and things of that nature. Any information is appreciated.

Your friend is starting off with the right idea. However, Comptech doesn't make a catback system for the accords. they only make an axle-back system. if he wants a catback system, he should look into greddy, apexi, invidia, or magnaflow. as for pullies, he should pick up a set of unorthodox racing underdrive racing pullies instead of the AEMs.
as for internals are concerned, he should pick up some CL-S cams. that will help increase the low-end torque of the J30A1. he could also change over to j32 heads as well. and of course, there's always porting and polishing the engine but i remember a member doing this on v6p.net and he didn't think it was worth the money for the minimal gains that he's got.
your fried could also get the comptech supercharger for an extra kick. however, the tranny on the v6 accord is not that good. many members on v6p.net have replaced their trannies multiple times. one member on the forum swapped a 6 spd CL-S tranny into his v6 accord accompanied with a comptech supercharger and nitrous. i think he's putting down around 300 hp to the wheels or so if i recall correctly.
