A guys i have the viper 500something and my first remote went out. Something happened to the remote to were the led light would stay on and drain the battery's??? That was weird.
Well my second remote just went out. The battery seemed like it was dieing so i replaced it. So now when i try to activate my alarm the led light flashes, but does not activate the alarm system.?????

Anyone know whats going on????

Anyone know what i can do????

Buy new ones(how much), or fix the two i got????

Reset the system, is that possible???

 

if replacing the battery did not fix the problem with the second remote... go back to the dealer that you got the alarm from and buy a new remote... usually they are only 49.95... least while i was a dei dealer...(maker of viper) thats what we sold them for... the remote has to be programed into the alarm...as far as the first remote... if the light is on all the time then chances are it got wet and the lil chip inside of it took a dump or something else happened to the chip.... but shoot it...it is dead...
