Tranny question and help
Last summer i had a new clutch installed along with a resurfacing of my flywheel. I dont know if this is relevent so go easy on me. My last clutch only lasted like 2 years. I dont ever remember getting my tranny fluid changed, i dont know if thats why it failed. Well lately i have been hearing a weird noise. I hear it mostly in 1st gear when i stay in gear longer. Its like a weird whinning noise. I am almost certain its my tranny. Why is it making this noise? Do you think i need a tranny fluid change? please help. I have put almost 10000 miles on since the install of the clutch ( meaning 10000 miles since tranny fluid change).
Do the symptoms match this? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=590820
Somewhat. The tranny is whining a lot, and i do sometimes hear a clicking noise but not always, and it only happens when i am stopped and start to go, so only first gear. So what is the problem. My clutch is under warrenty, think its best to get the shop to take a look at it?
im not positive but could be a bearing
i know my throwout bearing was bad..
and when i was going real slow in 1st gear. sounded like sumthing rubbing and winding..
hope i could help. im not positive though .

wow 10000 miles before you changed your tranny fluid...Umm i'd change the fluid first, and if that doesnt fix the problem i'd probably say its the Throwout bearing
