civic vs. gts? who would win?
i have a 1999 ex civic coupe i am getting a jdm b16a2 i am getting skunk 2 cams it has reatiners and valve springs . my ecu is going to be reprogramed by someone i know in arizona . besides that it will have a clutch intake, header's back and possibly a intake manifold tb combo? in a race he says he would still win he has a 2000 celica gts with a aem intake as his only mod. am i crazy or is he because i think i would win maybe not by alot. his **** is fast well only above 6k when vvtl kicks in . so who would win me (civic ) or him with the gts?
well if nobody wants to give there opinion i guess ill have to wait to do the swap comes in a week from know already have all the aftermarket mods
well he just don't get it he says he smokes si's all the time no problem he used to have a gsr 1999 but says he would blow that away too

Maybe you don't get it. You do understand that the GTS is capable of low 15's compeltely stock. There have been some running mid/low 14's with intake and exhaust only. You may have your hands full. You can't just take an engine, throw some parts at it, chip the ECU and except it to run 100%. You will need time on the dyno to tune you "chip" which will most likely dump WAY more fuel then your engine needs into it.
