N/A set-up.......stay stock your stock rods are good for well over 200+ HP (some would say 300HP), if not a set of eagle rods for like $340-$360 should be budgetable (is that a word).

Good luck!

You ever had an Eagle Break? $20 says no...you might know someone who knows someone who talks to someone on the internet that had one break...

IB Spec, Eagle, Probe...all that **** is made in china anyways...

The only problem with Eagle rods is that they weight a lot more than the stock rods. For NA motors, you want to lighten the assembly, not make it heavier...

Stock rods with ARP bolts are good for me!!!

I wonder why you even come up with that as your first assumption , but no.

This is why....

They're heavy & not the best rods for na.

They're "budget", but i would much rather go w/ what Garth suggested if i was on the budget setup.

My first choice.. Cunninghams.

usually the problem with eagles is not the rod itself but the bolt...... and reusing the bolt makes it weaker and more likely to break

eagles....

more ppl run them than any other rod you can think of...cept stock rods..in stock engines

if i had any choice...probally cunningham...but brad always suggest eagles...in ANY application, and that's MORE than enough reason for me.

Honda-Tech is such a goddam bandwagon....a year ago, noone barely knew about Cunningham....now suddenly everyone recommends them? With a 2-3 Month wait on a set...I wonder who has actually used them? They are good rods, but I don't understand how people 'recommend' stuff they haven't used.

i'm running shotpeend ls rods.. why not stick with stock rods?? theres some stock block b18c1s making 300whp with some monstor torque.. stock rods is the ultimate budget rod! if you really want to stregthen them get arp rod bolts, shot peening isnt really neccessary unless its some high milage rods

Assumptions, Assumptions, Assumptions.

I reccomend what I know works well, but it also depends on their budget.

I know it works b/c why? hmmm.

And its not that long of a wait, nor high of a price.. not much more than manleys.

Indeed hype is a big thing... HT is also full of dyno bots.

But no hype here, just **** that performs.
