What sensor am i describing? HELP!!!
Its a 2 prong connector usually located by the oil filter and oil pressure sending unit...(it actually looks like the oil pressure connecter but it has 2 individual prongs) i had this sensor on my 91 dx d15b2 and i saw it on a first gen b16.... but on my Xsi 170hp b16 this sensor is nowhere to be found.... one wire is a black ground wire and the other is a yellow wire with a green stripe... i can post pics if necessary....my question is what do i do with these wires???
coolant fan switch.
one goes to the ground the other goes to your fan or fan relay i forget.
all the switch does is complete the circuit at temp.

Coolant fan switch...You have 2 options either extend the 2 wire to the thermostat housing will have a green plug on it or take the sensor out of your block and remove one of the plugs in the back of the new B16 block. Theres 2 in the back but I forgot which one will work. One of them does and the other doesn't
You should have the sensor, it my not be on the back of the block on the b16, but either way, what you can do is run the 2 wires to a switch, mount it inside, and then be able to turn the fan on and off at will. Problem with that is you have to remember to turn it on on those hot days. Most people splice into the sensor though so they can leave it all all the time or if they forget it will still function normally.

did you look on the thermostat housing?? There is a round 2 prong plug. Its brown or green, I can't remember right now. Its a small plastic plug, not like the big metal one in the back of the block. It looks like the IAT sensor, IACV sensor and most honda round plugs
