When i was pulling out the tranny mount bolt on the frame the nut broke off the inside of the frame. Now when i put the bolt back in the hole there is nothing there to screw the bolt on. Is there any way to fix this problem?

 

which mount?
ther upper transmission mount?
or the lower transmission mount?

either way, best thing to do is get a washer, and a new nut, and put it on the back of the frame

 

hrm first I thought the tranny mount bracket was welded to the frame. and the bracket had 3 bolts to the tranny but anyway. When reading your question i get two different ideas what happened.

1. a piece of the frame itself broke off = weld a piece on
2. the nut broke off that was welded to the frame = get a long *** bolt and drill out the other side of the frame and put the bolt the whole way through and nut it.

 

thanks doublejz number 2 is what happened and ill try using a long bolt and nut.
