7E's should have a .30 gap. 7E11's should be a .36 gap. we've found that our stuff likes to be in between these 2.

well is the CR of the engine relative to gap of the plugs?

Only 11.1 cr in a B16..........I never really looked into spark plugs so much so i dont really know the theory behind it all

theres alot of things that can affect what plugs to use. id start with some 7e stuff and then get some 6E's and try them. it might help in a lower comp motor to have the hotter spark. the gap depends on if you have a msd or stock ignition. its easy to play around with since plugs are so cheap. im just lucky that NGK sponsored us so i got to learn alot about them.

He is correct, again, like I mention before, you can tried some other size gap and see how it works. But I don't like to say what I set mine since every engine is different, as far as setup goes, or may hurt it as far as performance.

If you can, tried Rockets' plugs.
