recaro milleniums? they look fake

Looks like the scheme that HKS used in the mid to late 90's.

I've owned a pair of red Recaro milleniums before (real ones) and had them in my civic before selling them and getting some JDM ITR Recaros (black).

The seats you're looking at are exactly the same as Drache seats, which are Recaro-style racing seats that are made locally here in Thailand. I can tell you that because they use the exact same fabric and colour scheme as you've pictured above Looks like the owner of the seats in that picture had the "recaro millennium" stitched onto it - the writing of the Recaro doesn't look like the right font, and isn't stretched out the same way..

Real Recaro SR-Millenniums are supposed to look like this:



They should have the SPG-style black fabric on the shoulder area of the seat, and the same down at the bolsters on either side. The Black Millenniums are exactly the same, apart from the fact that the word "recaro" is in red, "millennium" is in white, and the red fabric is black.

Yes, Recaro Millenniums do exist. They are in actual fact a real model that was made by recaro, and as far as I know, was sold only to the asia-pacific region. But as I said above, they only ever came in red and black. Anything else, and its fake

There are several ways to tell if your Recaros are real or fake. Look at your seat adjusting ****/s. If they are triangular, then its most probably real. If they're circular, or have a lever that you lift (like a stock seat) then its fake. Also on the sides near the top in the shoulder area of the seat, there should be two black levers on each side which allow you to quickly tilt the seat forward, unless of course, its a racing bucket seat, like the SPA and SPG.
