Tire size question????
I have a 98 Teg with Eibach Prokit. I am looking for 17 drag tires. I am wondered can i have 225 40 17 on my front wheel? Also, what drag tires last longer and has decent grip? Thx
There aren't a lot of drag tires out there to fit 17's. There are even fewer that will fit "skinny" 17's (17x7 is considered skinny). If you had some 17x9's, then you wouldn't have much of a problem, but we all know what would happen if you tried to put 17x9's on an Integra.

i got 215/40/17 with a 1.75 drop in the front and they only rub at full lock and if i'm moving quickly or hit a bump.
thesidewall height difference between a 215/40/17 and a 225/40/17 is 4mm.
if these are track only then they will do fine as you won't be tunring undr speed so you won't need to worry about rub. if they are street i would go with 225/40/16.
besides unless you got gobs of power you shouldn't be dragging with 17's. just pick up some steelies.
