Default no heatshield and metal O ring?

is it alright to run with no heat shield on the catback exhaust? The heatshield closted to the rear of the car..Also, you use a metal O-ring in between the cat and the catback pipping right? Thanks

it should be no prob running w/o a heatsheild. your shifter might get a lil warm thats about it. there should be a o ring/gasket where every pipe connects.
