The B16B puts the B16a to shame. It feels like it has way more power throughout the entire RPM range. When it hits 6K RPM that s.o.b. goes crazy! When that motor is at 8K rpm's I swear that is the most beautiful sound I have ever heard a Honda make. Shifting at 8600 is very interesting. The trans is fukin badass too, the LSD works beautifully. It could use a 4.92 FD. I got it because they are the most rare swap ever, as far as B series. I love it, keep me updated Tim.

ive got a b16b in my 98 EK HB. I love it. Its a trip when you hit 6K and VTEC kicks in because it just keeps screams and keeps screaming till you hit 8.5. When I start feeling its getting slow im going to change out the bottom end with a B18C5 and play with it. Ive been in and drove my friend EG with a B18C and you totaly notice how much longer you are in VTEC.

they're maybe a rare swap because no one see's the point in putting that in there car when you can get the b 18c engine which has more torque.

i like to save money not waste it. so that why i go with the b18.
if you going to do that to the b16b you can do the same with the b16a and be basiclly the same engine.

B16 or B18, bottom line, he did what he wanted with his car, and enjoyed it while he had it, so he got his moneys worth. Good luck with the house-hunting.
