is selling the teg an option?
hey, lately i have felt like i wanted to sell my teg for an eg hatch with itr 5 lug setup and either an itb k20 or the more sensable option a built to **** b16. see the project wouldnt be that bad because i woldnt have a real deadline of when i need to finish. my teg is a pos anyways i could throw it together in less than a month in epoxy primer since i dont have a shop anymore to spray it. the way i look at it im stupid for getting into cars and either way i'll just keep dumping money in the car. if i sold my car i could get the new shell with the suspension but would be stuck driving a 5 lug eg with a d15. lol. k my mod list is below.
Engine:
Stock bottem end, p+p head with 5 angle valve job, 95 intake manifold, 95 gsr tb bored to 65.5mm, hayame fuel rail. blue valve cover, ngk blue plugs, cai, msd 6al, fake spoon chip(i always laugh cuz spoon never made anything for an ls to my knowledge). i also relocated my battery to the hatch area.
Suspension:
SPC Upper and Lower Control Arms, Arospeed Coilovers with stock struts. bootleg ebay front strutbar.
Body: M-Roadster fenders, M3 Mirrors, BW Kit, and i am ordering my BW wnig today. i got stock 90 taillights and ugly broke *** all clear tails
Interior: Palmy Blue interior with black dash, Black Leather Front Accord Seats, Gutted rear seat, hatch, + some other crap. black ebrake, and titanium itr ****.
System: Panasonic deck something-801 or somethin. Alpine 4ch amp and kenwood 800w sub amp, sick wiring kit, 2 xplode 5.25" speakers, 2 blown polk ex 6x9's, kenwood tweeters, 2 jl 12w3's.
It's funny i have sooo much money in this thing and it looks like crap and i cant even remember alot of my mods.
i have parts to build a new motor too. LS block + B17 block both complete shortblocks, then i have 2 ls heads and a pr3 head. so if i get a civic i guess i could build a motor pretty quick but still will need money for the rest of the swap.

so what exactly are you asking...a civic has more potential because it is a lighter car but there is no way around an engine swap, the thing with a DA which i own is that it already comes with an engine with much potential the b18a or b18b, some ppl think eg's look better, and i do agree they look nice, but a DA is nice too, especially with some nice lips, body kits for me are a thumbs down, but wahtever spins your rotor, you could take ur engine out of your car now and drop it in the civic tho, but you would have to change wiring harnesses i believe, a 90 teg is obd0 and a 92 civic is obd1

crx's are played out. dont even bring that up. i also am waiting to do a DB because i did a g2 db when i was 16 and wrecked it with stupid body mods and needing parts for the da. so if i do a g3 of any sorts it will be a db and it will be a real itr replica...down to detail and i will put real money in it. till then i need to do either da or eg. nihonjin: i have a gsr motor if i decide to keep my car it will be 1.7L b16 powered next month.

dude what are you talkin about your asking if you should buy a CIVIC and you tell this guy a CRX is played out , everybody and there mom hooks up a civic or atleast drives one. .. . .

i think im gonna keep it. i spent the day workin on it and it looks decent....ill post pix in the hour. needs tuning still. if u want a 4dr shell ill sell it cheap. i need to get rid of it. i will straighten the body if u arent good at bodywork but it needs a 1/4 panel and i was quoted 400 from the dealer before installation and i dont have a mig welder anymore. around here every1 has ek's or near stock eg's. lots of dc's and some da's too. i see tops 2 crx's at race nights w/ who knows how many cars.

All Hondas/Acuras are played out (with the exception of the NSX possibly).
