Straightening steerting wheel 4th Gen ?
I changedout my cradle and with the wheels staight ahead the steering wheel is 140 degrees-ish anti-clockwise. This is because of the tab on the spindle that goes from the steering wheel through the firewall to the cradle UJ. It only goes in place aligned with the flat face.
So what I need to know is can I somhow loosen the steering wheel and retighten it in the correct position, It is going to have 4ws alignment on monday but I dont think it could be corrected by tie-rod adjustment
Any ideas? and how do i take the cover off of the steering wheel? (4th Gen non airbag)

reach down behind the intake manifold.
loosen the 2 10mm bolts on the Universal that is connecting the steering shaft to the Pinion shaft on the rack.
Slide the Universal up as far as you can, to get it off the lower section.
straighten your steering wheel.
and slide the universal back down.
you may have to try a few times to get the right splines.
go slow and make sure you only go 1 spline at a time. until its straight.
