Just an addendum:

He's getting the car without these items:
I'm keeping my rims, intake, strut bar, stereo, & Honda optional armrest console.

 

a del sol is nice but if it were me i would rather keep the coupe.....it has a better motor.... and i wouldnt want a salvage title even tho it's just a theft recovery.... just my opinion. Your coupe is nice and clean

Yea I do agree it's a better motor but I think I could live without VTEC for a few months before I could do a Mini-Me. Salvaged title isn't that bad I suppose...I know for a fact I would pass it up if it was an Accident Salvaged title. Since it's a theft recovery, I'm actually thinking twice over it.

I have owned a del sol (94 si) nice car bout not for your car...Maybe if the car was not stolen and as banged up as u say.. my opion is Nope!

 

Well I'm emailing back the guy and asking him for an extra $300 plus he's smogging the car for me in case it doesn't pass. I'm still waiting on his response.

The fender is noticeable but it's fixable along with a few missing interior parts at the junkyard. Missing driverside interi. door handle & the targa lock on the driver side.

 

I'd keep the coupe

 

i'd say go for it if the del sol didn't have a salvaged title.

I would vote for the coupe, simply because of the salvaged title...but Ive seen some realllly nice sols lately.

i would just sell ur car and use that money for a del sol that is SI and not salvaged...

I dont see a problem with him asking about the purchase of a car...thats pretty significant.

Now I can understand if he was asking if he should paint is car ***** pink or tittie pink, but with decisions like this peoples input helps.

It's your car, go with what you want. Look at the pro's of the coupe and the pro's of the del Sol. Then do it with the cons. Which looks better on paper (if you wrote it down, cause thats what i would have done)?

Personally, stick with the coupe.

Reasons: The del Sol has a salvaged title. It is only an S (unless you plan on doing engine swap) I would wait for an SI or Vtec. You own the coupe and know exactly what is wrong with it. Do you know what is exactly wrong with the Sol?
