Default 02 accord on coilovers???

my brother has his 02 4dr accord on skunk2 coilovers and it still has a gap between the tire and the fender...i've seen other accords which are much lower...his skunk2s are on their lowest setting and there still is a gap...

for those who have accords, 98-02, what is your suspension set up...should i change my struts...??? will they go lower..????

if your car have gap between the tire and the fender,, one of the cause is dat you probably have skinny tire...

you could try getting some koni yellows...not sure if that will help much though.

many members on v6p.net use tein ss coilovers. they are by far the best suspension for the accord. most members are dropped about 3" while maintaining stock ride quality. you should look into getting a set but they are almost $1000.

also are you sure that the strut is not bottoming out, or it is not sitting on the bump stop?

I've got an 02 4-door on GC's with Eibach springs. I was actually curious about what my car would look like slammed, so me and my friend did it a few days ago. I lowered the locking perch in the back as low as it would go and the fender was over the top of the tire about 1/2 inch. Safe to say, I had some camber action going on and my exhaust decided to make love to the street everytime i went over the smallest bump. The front was about the same, had some trouble turning though. I like the GC's personally. Perhaps one day I will upgrade to Tein's, when I have the money. Damn college expenses.

Cliff Notes: GC's with Eibachs got my 02 4 door very low in the front and back.
