Tein Flex and EDFC vs. Buddy Club Race Spec Dampers
So which ones and why...
Application: Jack of all trades type car
45% of race time will be at auto-x
45% @ the drag strip
and a few track days here and there (not a major concern this year, but next year I want to devote a lot more time and money to that)
Price isn't an issue, although bang for the buck is...and it's between these 2; please don't suggest other options unless you absolutely feel it's necessary
thanks in advance.

the tein flex is not in the same class as the buddy club racing spec
i don't think the flex can handle the spring rates the buddy clubs can
the tein RA/RE are more of a apples to apples comparision

Like BlueR said, Tein Flex can't compare to BC's. If you plan on doing alot of track events in the future get the BC's, the Flex's have a nice street ride and that's about all.
Yes, I was aware the two setups aren't similar, which is why i posed the question...which ones would you choose for me with what I do...
I'm basically leaning towards the Teins for a few reasons...I think they might be better for the drag racing I do, and the bling factor of the edfc is great...HOWEVER they're $650 more than the Buddy Clubs [$300 more not counting the EDFC] (at least at my price level)

from what you listed, get the buddy clubs all day. if you want to compare with tein, i think the RA would be an even better choice than the BC's. good luck
BTW, im putting on my JIC flt-a2's within the next 24 hours so if you wanna know how they are, ill leave a post

which would you classify your car more as? a track car or daily driver? there you'll find your answer.
too bad you can't choose from any others, else i'd say go somewhere in between.

Yep. O and buy from Jack at P1.

BC's are a good choice... more suspension then I will ever need, but they are on top of my list. There has been a few archived reviews on them and they faired out really, really well.

not quite BC'c but i "actually have" JIC's. awesome coilovers for good-mild streets. anything worse they are just hell. but performance and quality are awesome. theyve been through rain and all sorts of crappy, sandy roads and still literally look brand new
As long as the car is not your daily driver get the BC's. If you do daily drive it, then get the Flex. Simple as that.
The BC is a far superior suspension, but not something I'd want to daily drive for several reasons.
