Default Apexi World Sport????

is the apex W.S. exhaust any good for the eg hatch? i hear that 2 1\4 inch piping is the BEST for n\a cars and that should be my whole catback. and is there any other recommendations for exhaust? like the spoon n1? or the es oval thingy or anything? thanks.

its a nice and quiet exhaust, but its not the best at making power. and i like stainless better than that coating **** that apexi uses.

The apex w.s. will prolly be the best sounding exhaust for your car by far. It prolly wont give you the most power but i promise it will sound the nicest.

The only "bad" is that is is very loud if that kind of thing annoys you.

REALLY loud, a **** load of cash too. do you have any other mods? your not going to feel much with any exhaust without any other mods, pretty much the max you'll gain out of just an exhaust if you have no other mods would be like 7hp. There's a lot of Fans on this board of The Apexi world sport and RS*R Ex-mag (I have the RS*R and love it), because they're quieter exhausts and well made. If you use the search function and type in "world sport" or "RS*R" or "Spoon N1" you'll get a TONNE (I'm canadian) of info. There's a discussion about what exhaust to get pretty much every week, so take a peak !

I've heard a lot about the RSR as well. That is more than likely the exhaust I will be going with to replace my custom sooner or later. Apparently, it makes more power than the WS.

The design is quite similar so the power difference is probably negligible.

I just bought mine like 2 weeks ago, I love it!
Awsome exhaust, keeps me looking stock, less problems with cops.
just one problem though, I get this nasty rattle at low rpms (1500-2000). maybe its just my bushings...not sure haven't checked yet.

i love my WS! i hav a 99 ek adn it looks and sounds great i didnt want one of those big exahusts cause i thought they would look bad on my car, and i didnt want a loud exhaust. I love it i am so glad that i got it. the sound is just perfect when ur just sitting there or ur in low RPM's u can barely hear it but when ur on WOT it sound great not too deep and not ricey just perfect. the one downfall was that fact that the mid pipe hang a lil lower than other exhausts and u may scrape a lil of ur car is real low but otherwise i really like it

If it's just a cat-back then it should be smog legal. As long as you use a catalytic converter you should be fine. The only thing cops will complain about is noise pollution, especially here in CA.

I used to have the N1 cat-back on my EJ8. It was a really nice exhaust with perfect fitment. Extremely loud, though, but the stick-in silencer they provide really works well. It's still pretty loud but much quieter than without it. Be careful if you're dropped a lot, though. I'm dropped 2.5", and my N1 cat-back got fucked up hard. I drove 40mph over a little metal plate in the road--used by construction crews--and the back of the muffler got caught on the metal plate. It ripped clean off the exhaust piping. I feel sorry for the car that was behind me, though. The muffler must've shot into his front bumper pretty badly.
