The rubber bolt with washer that bolts the AEM CAI system to the frame of the my engine bay is really loose. It seems that the thread in the rubber piece is busted so now my CAI system isn't secure. I can grab it and yank it around very easily.

Does anyone know where I can get another one? I'm assuming I can call AEM and order it?

You could just strap down the CAI for now if you're really concerned, it's okay for now. You could check a hardware store for a rubber stopper of a similar size but your best and really only bet is to get another from AEM.

Ah, that piece. Go to mcmaster.com and search for "rubber sandwich mounts". It'll set you back a couple bucks or so.

 

I had to replace mine too. I got the real AEM from a local honda dealer ship. They sell aftermarket car aprts and have connections with aem.

It costed me $5.00 for the rubber thing and the washer and nut.

 

DUDE...i spend $5 on single bolts at my acura dealer...it's a ripoff. I bet they'd charge like $20 for that little AEM setup...

 

try a home depot, i always find little **** there that i need

 

Might as well just call AEM and hope for the best... sounds like a lot of hassle to be wasting all that gas and your valuable time (i'd hope it's valueable anyway) to save a few bucks.

 

call AEM and they will send u another one for FREE with a metal o ring piece in the black rubber piece

if yours is damaged, AEM should give u one for free....
also if i remember correctly, u can oder from aem for $3.20

put i needed it asap and found it at $5 from the dealer
