Default Comptech Exhaust System for ls integras??

Just wondering if i should get there cat-back?Im going too be getting there header and running a test pipe.I was just wondering i heard that the header should be paired with there exhaust. It looks fairly similar too the greddy sp2 exhaust,I like the design but for 650 its worth asking about.Tell me what you guys think on there cat back, is it worth the price?

I love my Comptech exhaust. I got the axle back for $100 used, but it was in excellent condition. I am planning to get the rest of the cat-back. The comptech exhaust is a pricey one, but i feel it is worth the price for the quality. It has a nice low rumble and by no way raspy. It isn't annoyingly loud either. I say go for it. Full comptech exhaust setup = yummy!!

Thanks ya i mosy likely will go for it.It shows that there header and catback on a dyno made 12 horsepower.I thought that was very good. That was not even a test pipe and intake like i would have.Is there a place where you can get comptech items cheaper?Anyone have any pics of it on a integra

I found a brand new mig welded header with burned exterior for 370.I was wondering if this will perform as well as the tig one and if the quality is there? Also is the comptech exhaust free flowing?Or does the muffler have chambers?

$370 is way too high for a used MIG Comptech header. Check the classifieds, I think I saw a used TIG for under $300.

My bad, I read burned exterior and thought it was used. $370 is a good price for a MIG Comptech. They were going for $370-$390 last year before Comptech discontinued them. Performance wise, there is no difference between MIG and TIG. It's mainly a cosmetic difference.

There catback is a very nice piece and is a relatively quiet piece. Its not a straight through system, since it has a resonator. Also, I believe the muffler is chambered. The only problem I've heard about the Comptech catback is that the b-pipe had some pinging problems. But I believe they fixed it.

Regarding the header, Comptech discontinued the MIG version last summer. I had a hard time finding a store that had one. If your store can find you one, then its one that a shop had lying around.

would the greddy sp2 be a better performing exhaust?I saw that they are very similar looking but may perform better because it is not chambered.I want too get as free flowing as possible, but without being loud.
