First bike, look at this?
Friend of mine is selling his bike and I figured I'd look into getting a bike. He is selling his:
2001 Suzuki GSX-R600
8500 miles
Some kind of full race exhaust (i wanna say Yoshimura RS-3 Duplex SS)
and some other stuff I can't remember off top of my head, I will have a list of info on the bike tomorrow.
He is asking $5,000 for it. It's been kept inside, well maintained, serviced regularly.
I know I have alot to learn about riding and such and I am ready to do that
What do you guys think? I am not one to price bikes, have never dealing with them.

definatly a good deal for an 01 gixxer with miles like that. I would say go for it. A 600 isnt going to be to much for you, unless your totally obliviouse to how bikes work, then any bike is gonna kill you. I can see people staying away from 1300's, and 1000's, but even a 750 isnt gonna kill ya unless your a moron.

Thats a killer deal man. Sounds like a good bike to start with, it's still got enough power to kill you, so just be gentle.
