Default Tranny and Head in a 97 Hatch

Anybody tried to carry a Z6 tranny and a Z6 head in the back of a hatch? I've got about a 300 mile trip with these things stuffed in my hatch (if it'll fit at all) and was wondering if this is even a feasible idea.

Thanks guys!

I've never tried it but I'm pretty damn sure it won't be a problem. Honda trannies aren't that big and the head is small enough to even stash behind the driver's seat.

Thanks. Thats what I thought as well, putting the head in the passenger side floorboard and the tranny in the hatch in a box (or somethign to keep it from ******* my car all up).

How much does a D tranny weigh? Like 100 lbs?

I could have sworn that in the B vs. H series weight thread the B was like 125 lbs. Oh well, even better. Less weight for me to carry around!
