Default z6 lma's in y8 will they bottom out?

i just installed a set of z6 lma's in my a6/y8 mini me. they sit a little different so i needed to get the bracket too. it seems to run fine but i didn't dabble in vtec yet. I have heard that you can break the cam if the lmas bottom out.

i think i may be one of the first people to try this, i can't find any info on the board.

is there a reason you did this? or did you just not have a complete y8 head and used the z6 for parts?
