Default Suspension Techniques Sway Bars...

I was just wondering if any of you have experience with these sway bars and can tell me the pros and cons. They will be going on a Del Sol.

i have the rear kit on my 94 coupe with the stock front bar.i'm pretty happy with it-had it on for about five years now with no problems.with this setup and 400f/350r springs on AGXs,the car leans toward slight oversteer when pushed hard.

I was thinking of getting the front and rear kit just in case. Summit has them for only $235.

don't bother with the front kit on a sol, keep that front end planted as much as you can. just get the rear and you'll be way happy, maybe just a poly front bushing set.

I had the set on my 94 hatch- worked OK, but was a little much for autox... the back came around super quick. I didn't play with them much as it wasn't a super huge deal at the time.

I have the rear one. one good thing is that you can use any LCA's you don't need ones with sway bar mounting points as it mounts to the bolt thru the bottom of the shock.

Take it easy on the streets after you get it. You'll have to learn your car all over. I ended up in a ditch the first weekend I got it becuase I wasn't expecting the oversteer it produced at high speeds.

It has helped my times at the autocross a bunch. it got rid of my horible understeer when I had no rear bar.

I had an ST rear bar on my '89 Integra, but have since traded it out for an Addco rear bar. The mounting scheme of the ST bar was wack, and a pain to install/remove. I guess you can only do so much with a rear beam axle though... The Addco bar is much easier to mount, and produces better results, due to shorter lever arms versus the ST bar.

But this probably doesn't apply to your situation, just sharing some info.

i have both front and rear ST bars on my hatch with 375f 475r springs and the car turns excellent. not too much oversteer for the street, but pleanty for autox and track use.

i have front and rear wiht my Koni yellows and H&R springs on my hatchy and she likes it Alot! one of the best upgrades I have made
I know the kit doesnt have the thickest bars but I think that is good for autoX and daily driver B/c now I dont have to worry so much about my subframe ripping out.

Had mine for over 4 years and it's very good. I'm more on the neutral to slight oversteering effect in street driving but the harder you push the more towards oversteering she goes. I give the ST bar and it's install ==>

I love my rear bar, it's pretty much perfect. When I want to oversteer, I just lift.
