Will A gsr Header fit on a LS ??
I recently took off my turbo system, and don't have my old header, but my friend has one off his GSR. I am going to be making a testpipe anyways, just seeing if the mounting points will be any different?
Since, you're going to be putting in a testpipe, any 94-01 Integra header would work. However, if you were using a stock cat, only a 00-01 GSR header would work.

No it won't. The length of the 94-99 GS-R downpipe is different than the LS/RS/GS

That's assuming he's using a stock cat. But since he's going to be putting in a test pipe, he could cut it to make it fit.

if ur using a stock cat the only other header that would fit with eht e stock exauhst/cat is an ITR header.
___EDIT__
since ur making a test pipe it doesnt matter what b-series header you use...ALL b-series headers will bolt up to any b-series head. the only difference of the headers is the length of the DP because different cars that have different b-series motors have different length cats.

Would there be any performance advantage over the stock LS header?

Nope, LS and GSR OEM headers are the same.

Actually, the GSR header is better because has a tubular downpipe. The LS header has a cast downpipe.
I swapped a GSR header into my B20 LS and I noticed a slight difference.
You need to use a GSR cat with the GSR header because the O2 sensor bolts into the cat, VS the header on the LS part.
SOOO...if you use a GSR header, you'll need to weld a bung for the O2 sensor into your test pipe.
The LS and GSR cats are the same length, but the GSR header is about 3 inches shorter.

A usdm itr header won't fit a 94-99 GSR. 00-01 GSR, 94-01 LS, and 97-01 ITR exhaust manifolds are interchangeable.

yes it will............but it will raise your compression and jack your engine up instantly due to the fact that your putting a vtec head on a none vtec head. Right now I'm telling not to do it until you built your bottom end first.
You''ll be sorry

WTF are you talking about? HEADER NOT HEAD

don't listen to him. ok guys like said before. the 94-99 GS-R header a pipe is SHORTER than the other gen 3 integras. therefore. if using STOCK B-PIPES and CATS it WILL NOT fit. but if you are gonna build a testpipe, bend your own b-pipe. thne all b series exhaust headers are interchangable. only difference is the b16 is shorter than the b18's so if you used one for a b16 on another b series the runners would be really close the oil pan and you would need to heat-wrap it. i dunno about the other engine deck height differences tho.
