Rims/Bodykit for 04 Si?
Hi everyone...
as some of you know I have been trying to get a new car. Im looking at the Civic Si. I was going to get the HFP kit, but thanks to your help, I think im going to fix it up on my own.
What type of light weight rims would you recomend for this vehicle? Anyone see any good bodykits? I would like to reduce air drag if that is possible. Finally, anyone know any Rim/suspension places in Southern Cali?
Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for the help.

i'd recommend probably either buddy club or work emotion rims in 16 or 17", the buddy club2 kit is pretty decent, on showstoppers.com but i personally would go with the jdm kit, u'd need to get the jdm front and back bumpers and side skirts, then the jdm front and back lips, or u could switch it up a bit and put mugen lips on there...a friend of mine did that and it looked pretty good, i think at least....just my opinion
rims: depending on the money, you could get Rota Slipstreams (tons of people have them though) that weigh 13.5lbs for 16's or for more money but a forged rim you could get the Work RSZ-R that weigh 14lbs. those are just two choices off the top of my head
bodykit: CTR kit is the best looking IMO

Team ERA EP

My friend is working on gettin his kit painted and I think a Mugen wing...I personally like the Type R kit better but to each his own. The shop had to cut the front reinforcement bar out

You can now get the Type R lipkit that fits the USDM bumpers and looks great. There was someone with a silver SI that had this kit and Work Emotion wheels on ephatch.com, and it just looked awesome. Here are a few pics.

I myself plan to go with the Fiber Images Front Lip and the CTR sides and rear. All painted to match of course.
I know, I know.. the carbon fiber front lip shouldn't be painted, but it woudl look silly to put it on and not paint it to match the rest of the car. IMHO.
For wheels, I plan to go with something light, like Rota C10s or something similar in weight. I want ot get some 17s for daily driving, and some lighter 15s for track days.

u can get the ctr lip kit that fits usdm?! could u show me a site because that would be exactly what i'm lookin for, u'd save a **** load of money by doing this opposed to the jdm bumpers first
thos pics look sick. sweet cars. thanks for the input. I know it is sometimes frustrating dealing with a rookie!
about the rims/tires, would the 17"s slow down the car at all? What are some quality suspension names?
I figure I will start by dropping it an inch and putting some 17"s.
Thanks again...

Gun-metal wheels. That's Edgar's (eg_nezay on this board) boosted / Hondatafied EP.

One question that could negate all your previous options
The 04 front end is way different. So is the JDM kit. He will have to get the 04 JDM kit because non of the stuff for the 02-03 will fit. Is this true?
