Pic Request: Type R Yellow EK's w/ DIY Black Housing Headlights.....
Hey sorry for posting this here... I know it probably belongs in the appearance forum but my trial h-t membership wont let me post anything in there.
I just needed the pictures because I'm thinking if I should paint my car this spring in Type R Yellow. But I dont know if the DIY black housing headlights would clash with the yellow.
Right now my car is black and I was thinking if I should get a single stage paintjob and save a lot of money and then color sand it after a few months to bring out a more crisp look? Let me know what you guys think.
Oh yeah, and i was also wondering if you guys think it would be gay if I left my door jams/engine bay black. I was thinking it'd be kinda cool, plus save a little money. But then on the other hand I didn't wanna look like a bumble bee when I open the door.
thanks

u should go with CTR headlights not DIY IMO factory stuff fits better...looks better...and last longer
It depends on what color you use for the DIY lights... you could use the "smoke" paint and it will still look like type r headlights but the black wouldn't look to bad... If you have the money i'de paint the door jams and everything.... It just looks like a complete paint job not a half a$$ one...
paint ur door jams you will thank me later, it looks ghetto and ugly if the door jams arn't painted, engine bay i say leave it black

paying $250+ for some JDM lights opposed to spending $10 to paint the housings is SUCH a better idea

here's mine with CTR headlights, its a coupe but you get the idea...looks way better than DIY IMO. save up if you dont have the money now, it will be worth it in the long run.
