Default -------> (D16 Question) <-------

Hey Just another floating question!! I have a friend that blew out his motor on his 94 4Dr Civic , I think it's a LX,It has a D15 in it that's for sure. "Well", he has found a good running, no oil burning D16aZ off of a 88 CRX Si. My question is will this motor run in his car and what modifications will he encounter ?

The motor is too old i guess i dont know just a thought!

but a newer motor would be easier and better than a Si crx motor! d series motor should be like 400 bucks or cheaper!

It can be done but you might need some work.
1st cant use the tranny (Cable)
2nd the motor is OBD-0 so you would have to use your wiring
3rd You might have to use your old DX intake manifold (makes swap easier)
4th Keep DX distributor and injectors

Might be better off going DOHC man. Much more power and way more fun.
