well, we just installed a jdm type r motor into my buddies 97 dx and the thing ****** rips. want i want to know is what you guys think should be the first major modification besides bolt ons and what not. thinking of going with skunk2 stage 2's because the motor has a two layer mugen head gasket so i thought those would work nice with the upped compression. I want him to get a dtr header but i also thought about header tech simply because the price to power ratio is so good. other than that, what should we be worrying about??? headwork?? valvetrain??? bottom end??? what will net the most power and what do you think we can do to make it into the 11's??? I appreciate comments from those with experience. and please back up your answers with reasons or stories why. thanks

my friend did that...except he built the whole head before he put the motor in....it ran 13.1 with that set up...(crower everything) ferrea valves
