Default del sol seats and height

i don't know if its true or not, but i read in another thread that del sol seats give you more head room. does this mean you sit lower in the car? if so, how much lower? i want del sol seats, but being short, im not sure i would have good enough visibility. thanks.

ps. im 5'7"

I'm only 5' 10" and they do sit lower, but not low enough to be a problem. You can just see my neck and head over the doorsill though. I love my Sol seats and would'nt trade them for anything (seriously, I've owned a corbeau seat)

they are great seats, just make sure they are still on good condition which is pretty hard to find nowadays. Check for "wrinkling" in the cloth. Good luck with it and dont pay too much for it. If you're over $300 keep looking

that answered my other question. so less than $300 is a good deal. i have been into honda's for years, but only owned one for about a month and a half so i still haven't really figured out fair prices yet. thanks.

peace

really. is one stripe color more rare than others? i think grey would actually look better with my whole color theme ideas. is it a dark grey, or is it light. do you have a pictures of them?

well the ones with no stripe are on the 96 and 97 sol's also i love my seats but they came stock i got a 96 sol and they are really rare since in 96 they only made around 8K sols and in 97 only 5K were made so ill probably be easier to find the ones with the colored stripe

lol. People act like the del sol seats lower you 6 inches or something.

You'll see fine and they're super comfy.

3-4 inches would make me smile to no end... Please if someone could tell me that was true Id screw getting an amp for my system and spend whatever I needed to on the seats as soon as I am out of school.

I love my '97 Sol seats (no stripe) and I wouldn't trade them for anything else.

I wish I had a comparison shot of the stock Civic seat, but you can see how low the Sol seats are:

Can you get a picture of them from the front bottom? so I can see how low they sit in the car? I noticed before Del Sol seats are recessed, but I never knew by how much

I'm 6'1 and i fit nicely in my sol. I sat in a hatch once and my knees hit the steering wheel. And to the 97 sol seats I love mine :-P

it's just swapping the EG rails with the Del Sol rails, nothing complicated really.
