Default Getting new wheels/tires with my tax return. Need help choosing.

I want to get a new set of wheels and I'm looking to pay around $1000-$1500 for all four wheels + tires. I may be willing to pay a little more if I really like them.

They should be 16x7. Tires will be either Falken Azenis, Yokohama AVS ES100, or Yokohama AVS Parada Spec-2. Not sure which yet. Leaning away from the paradas because I've read their wet traction isn't so great and it does occasionally rain here in SoCal.

Wheels I've been looking at (and in these finishes):

Black Racing Pro-N1 (don't ask me why they lump them with 5zigen wheels)

SSR Competition (I'm not sure that they make this in 4x100 pattern :[ )

5zigen RX6 (a bit plain, and aren't out yet I don't believe)

Advan RG (I can dream can't I? LOL)

As you can see I like 6-spoke a lot, although they don't have to be.

Keep in mind they will be going on this:

I know there isn't much tech to this but I want to keep my integra pretty clean and I'd rather have input from you guys instead of the appearance forum.

I am going through the same problem.
I'm looking for some real light weight 16's. By your wheel choices you posted it looks like you feel the same way as I do.......
I'm leaning towards some volkracing te37's, the limited edition would be awesome if I could get my hands on them.........or even their gram lights too..........
here is a picture of them........

te37s are great but aren't they pretty expensive (and a bit overdone)?

I have the Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tires on 16x7 slipstreams, and I think you have your tires messed up.. If you are concerned with requiring good wet traction, you should be eliminating the Falken Azenis from your list, not the Parada Spec 2's.. The Falken Azenis would do the worst in rain out of the three tires, however - as long as you aren't a maniac when its wet, the Azenis shouldn't be too bad.

Ok.. well if you're giving us those pictured choices... I'd say the two best rims for your car would be either the ssr comps or the advans. But i've seen the advans on a black teg and i think its a bit flashy... i think the ssr comps flow better and make the car look good as a package as opposed to drawing attention just to the wheels. just my humble opinion...

I love the look of bronze rims on black cars its got a little sleeper mixed in with it. Its something different then the same old silver and chrome. Plus I think the bronze would blend well as opposed to a silver rim that would just look weird.

I'd be interested in buying your rims. Local too

I like all those rims but the rx6 really doesn't do it for me.

You can't go wrong with 16" wheels weighing in at 11lbs/each.

TE37s
LE37-T

I would love TE37s but I don't think I can afford them. Cheapest I've found is $360/wheel

I agree and those are probably my favorites but those also might be a bit too much and I don't know if they come in 4x100

they're also $500/wheel

I would go with the Black Racing N-1, and the reason they are lumped in with 5zigen is because 5zigen manufactures and distributes those wheels. If you go the 5zigen site I think they have a link for Black Racing - just an interesting tidbit.

I think all of them are sick, but my personal favorite is those Advans, I think the Black car with black wheels is a little over played, and that the brone is a better choice. I was looking at STI's yesterday, and the black one with bronze wheels was sick.

If you can find a good deal on these, count me in. I need a set of performance shoes too.

if you like the TE37s Rota Grids are a good knockoff for a lot less and they come in 16s...

I would get those, in silver with a polished lip.

and as far are I know they dont make the Azenis in a 205/45/16 size so you would have to go with a 215 or wider and that might scrape.

and the Azenis have the worst wet traction, almost none, get the ES100s
