Default OEM seats suck need options

I like everything about the 93 Civic EX coupe I bought last week except the seats. I don't know what Honda was thinking, the curve at the base of the seat back digs into my lower back, the seat is too high off the floor, it puts you in a truck ride position looking down on the road instead of into it.

What should I look I look for in the junkyards to replace these?

I got Del Sol seats in mine. Picked them up for 100 bucks. Can't beat them.

Do you mean OEM seats in general or just the stock civic seats? If you're open to other OEM seats check into a pair of Del Sols. If you are willing to save a little then go with an aftermarket seat like Sparco or something a little cheaper, but still very nice in Corbeau.

IMO stock EG seats are actually pretty good, especially the Si's. Try driving a civic from 96-04...THOSE are bad seats.

I agree. Actually had a big flame war on wich seats were better.
5th gen seats may look like crap, but were decent as far as
comfort. Every seat I have rode in hasnt been good for long
distance, so the lower back thing is just something you have
to deal with.
