Default Anyone have a old dohc auto/manual 89-up wanna get rid of cheap/free?

I have a friend who's down on his luck at the moment, he's married and has 2 kids and cant really afford to do much. I am trying to help him refresh his 89 4 door. He doesnt need anything too new or crazy, no b16/18 etc, just something we can drop in pretty straight forward.

Auto is fine since his is already. If the engine needs a little work that's fine too, actually even a SOHC 90-91 SI engine would be fine, high milage whatever...

If anyone can help out it'd be much appreciated.

Man I wish I had friends like you!

Does his car run at all right now? Cuz if he needs a motor I have a D15b7 Long block just sittin in my garage. Needs a head Gasket though. But you guys are more than welcome to it if ya need it. I'm about 40 mins east of L.A.

Thanks man, sounds good, do you have any of the additional gear? (tranny, harness, dist, harness?) If not still very cool, I just have to try and arrange pick up, as soon as I have a truck avail (should be soon) I 'll hit you up.
