5th gen rear upper strut bar question
well i searched and only returned a few topics, but didnt answer my question........
is there problems installing one due to the rear seat and what not? do you only have to cut out holes in the trunk liner or what. i have heard that the rear seat can be in the way for this install. thanks fo tha help in advance

the pics i've seen indicator the seats are okay...they have clearance....you'll need to cut into the plastic trunk liner though.
I don't think it does much though...given the unit body is a solid pan right there.
Also too, it cuts down on your fold-down seat clearance (but that's the home-depot guy in me talking).

Well the 5th and 4th gen rears should be pretty close. On mine I did the normal steps in installing them. Well I measured twice and cut once on the "trim" back by where the strut bar goes into to connect to the top of the strut. Here are some pics and I hope it helps. And so far no problem with folding my back seat (and I got a box back there too
. Overall with me minus a impact gun took me approx 30 minutes. I found it useful to remove the back trim pieces and rear seat so I could get in there.
