It should be in the oil pan. that is where those journals go.

Hopefully it made it all the way to the oil pan and if your lucky will tumble it's way out if you drain the oil.

Most likely time to take the pan off.

It will amost for sure drop into the oil pan and past the windage tray. Next oil change stick a magnet pen in their and fish around. You should come up with it. THat way you'll save yourself an oil pan gasket.

make sure you take it out before you start your car or go driving around with it...it probably wont be very good if your crank hits that nut randomnly

LOL that is very true! I think he has a kinder heart than that though. Never know our mufflers are pretty annoying he might be wanting to rid uus of these cars now so he won't have to have them in heaven for us.

IT LIVES!!!!!

With the exception of an exhaust leak from a broken gasket, my engine is running perfectly, no ticking from LMA's sticking, and it purrs baby, yeah!!!!

One thing that scared me is that I found an extra valve adj nut in the oil pan . So now I have one extra valve adj nut. and a new oil pan gasket. The old one was a bitch to get off, it was caked on there like nothing I've ever seen. Had to work on it for like an hour But it's done and everything is good. Thanks for your guy's help.
