Default Best filter for CAI?

This would have been better as a poll, but I could not make one. I search on the fourms but could find no thread comparing filters.

Recently I have heard some bad things about K&N filters . I need a new filter for my AEM CAI on my 00 SiR and am wondering what to get.

What is everyones input on which filter is best for a good price? I have one buddy saying that the Ractive filter with heatshield is good.

Apex
K&N
Ractive
Computech
etc.

Your inputs are appreciated.

I think you can go with K&N and that will be sufficient. K&N are well known for their air filter technologies. And it might be cheaper too.
