**** Advancing timing/distributor on and AUTO accord?
well I have a 93 accord.
It runs just fine but I just want it to pull better in the the lower rpm. This is my wifs car and so it never goes past 2,900rpms unless on the freeway.
I would imagen that it would give you slightly more power on the lower midrange if I FULLY advanced it. the accord as MSD 6al and coil blaster2.
---would I hurt anything?
---can you even do it to accords?
---will it make a difference?

---most likely if you advanced it fully
---your probably going to nead a modified distributer to run an external coil but yes
---not anything realy noticable if the cars stock might affect it a little at higher rpms where the weak stock coil might not be able to give a consistante spark

Well from what ive been reading u cant adjust it on the Accord. Thats why for boosting we need to get a MSD BTM since the vafc retards timing for the Accord. I could be wrong though. Jus trying to help a fellow H-T member and fellow HMONG brotha. Hey u got family in Rochester??? LOL!

well yeah I know you can physically adjust the distributor but I want to know if it would help with giving it a better powerband in the lower rpms for daily driving.... remember this is an AUTO
