whats "bump" mean?

 

basically, it's a way to "bump" your thread to the top of the forum's page, so that it's more noticable and easier to find. (threads are in order from top to bottom according to the most recent replies.)

 

I know what it means but

where did the expression "ownz" come from?

 

or how about "PWNED"....? seriously... i never figured out how "owned" changed to "pwned"

Yeah, "pwned" originated in the Kills forum about a year ago. Some n00b typed in "I will pwn you.", or something like that. Only the 1337 would understand, lol.
