Default Comptech IceBox on GSR w/ SKunk2 mani?

If I was going to Run an Icebox setup on my GSR with a Skunk2 Intake Mani and My TB overbored, and converted to type r cable (which shouldn't matter), should I order the complete Icebox set up for the type r, or just the Type R intake and the GSR box? Thanks guys.

I found the itr comptech intake arm and filter in the classifieds for $60, then a month later, I found the ice box system for $150 in the classifieds....you just have to keep looking. i know some one is selling a complete set up for $240 right now....just got to search for the thread though

Would getting an ITR intake arm make a difference in performance? Crackerballer, how big is your tb? Is it matched to the s2 im?

i haven't had it done yet, its gonna be 64mm, and I am having the pulley swapped. Its gonna match the Intake Mani.

i think you need to get the itr version of the icebox if running a skunk2 mani because the skunk2 gsr mani gets rid of the secondaries. i think it also sits in nearly the same place as the R mani does.

Just be sure to get the "type R" intake, so it will fit in ice box properly (the lid will close). This is due to the change in position of where the throttle body sits ( it is lower on the gsr).

The box design should be the same on both though, so you could just order the complete kit for the type R.
