So last week I ordered a 3" Magnaflow Resonator from http://www.kteller.com/store/i...5_110 .

I received it today and well... it looks more like a Dynomax glasspack then a Magnaflow Resonator. It even came with a Dynomax sticker.

So I guess I'll send them an email this afternoon.

Well I guess if I ordered a T3-T4 and I received a T25 I should keep it cause you know... a turbo is a turbo.

Just kidding. I will email them and see what's going on.

How many time did you see a 3" resonator on a N/A 1.6L? lol

My car is turbocharged. And I want to add a 3" resonator to my 3" exhaust system.

Like the guy said a few posts back, a resonator is a resonator.

 

Maybe the magnaflow 3" resonator is just a rebadged dynomax? or vice-versa?

 

a Dynomax is cheaper than a Magnaflow... so he want is money back I think... I would do the same thing !

 

Contact him personally...no need to air this here.

Many people (including myself) have had great results in dealing with Mike/Kteller8.

No need to drag him through the mud without first giving him a chance to correct a problem.

Hmm... looks like he sent you exactly what you ordered. It says right there in the description "resonator" it doesn't say "magnaflow resonator" anywhere.

 

Posts like this are useless. KTeller is a great guy, and if a mistake was made, I'm sure he'll sort it out.

If you weren't trying to bash him, what WERE you trying to do? What's the point of your post? Just attach the pic to an email for him to see, no need to show the entire world.

 

Kteller is a good guy, but imo there is no difference between the two other than the name

on his site it does say that the picture are only for reference, and in the description is does not say mangnaflow.

im not on one side or the other im just saying.

it says it with some of the exhaust tubing.

i see no problem: pictures are used for reference and its the same picture for all the resontaors.. apparently sizes are different as well as the inlets...

No big deal, but in the future please try resolving disputes, however small they are, with a company/seller before posting them up. You would be surprised how quickly reputations can be tarnished by a misunderstanding!
