already 3 broken speedo cable!!!!
I've broken 3 speedo cable on my 90 integra at the speed of just 80mph...and two diff shops replaced it for me. the question i have is that what could be causing this to happen? and already searched found nothing.
don't drive 80 mph.
j/k Are you putting oem speedo cables in, or cheaper ones. I would have more investigated than just the cables, maybe check your cluster or where the cable goes into the tranny.

the shop's that fixed it did use OEM cables for a 90 integra. and i checked the guage cluster and it seems to be working..but the connection to the tranny seems kinda loose. anyone know where to get a new one?
Well then you can sefely conclude the problem must be in that general area. Simply because the guage cluster isnt turning the cable, the tranny is. If it was the tranny connection, it would snap there. Eitehr you arent connecting it properly to the cluster or there's something fucked with the back of your cluster...it doesnt turn freely causing the cable to twist and snap.
