Winter is right around the corner and I have a AEM cold air that i just put in, do i really need that AEM by Pass Vavle?

 

Ask yourself this question, "will I drive through puddles up to my clear bumper lenses knowing its bad for my car?"
But really, I live in bako cali, and I don't have the by pass, neither does anyone else, you really don't need it here. Just like everybody says, just watch how you drive and watch the puddles...but really, it would have to be a DEEP puddle. I say you don't need it, but if your really worried go for it man.

Okay guys, it is not the By pass valve, it is the bypass valve, 1 word, 2 syllables.

 

just spend the $40 and you wont have to worry about anything again!!! its not like the price will kill you..

 

they break , plus i dont think you will really need it , i took mine off, becuase the piece of **** broke on me and almsot got stuck in my tb. . .. . whatever floats your boat. ill sell you my new one i got from aem if you want it. never put it back on .

 

AEM bypass will work in deep water only. If you think the bypass is the answer for total water prevention, you are wrong. The bypass will not work with water splashes. Basically, it doesn't do sh*t and it hinders performance. It doesn't guarantee anything and it is only a peace of mind if you decide to get one.
I took my bypass off and put on a short ram.
