Misfiring Pistons
Not entirely sure how a piston misfires, but ill pretend we are on the same wavelength for a second
Might try checking the spark plugs, if they look like hell then you have a problem...
Then again there are so many things that could cause a misfire I think its almost impossible to figure out what is wrong without a more detailed account of what exactly is going on
best of luck with that

Thanks, I'm not exactly sure what is going on either. He just called me last night and told me that I need to come fix his car, the pistons are misfiring. And I don't know what would cause that.

did you get the plug wires back in the right order ?
As for the original poster... buy some new spark plugs NGK5F-11 set of 4 prob $8 throw them in and see what happens ... go from there
Those are the spark plugs that it probably calls for under the hood... they are suppose to be changed every 15k

I believe that, "I'm having a cylinder misfiring problem," would be a more correct way of saying it.
"Help, my piston's misfiring," is on about the same level as, "Quick, get me some alternator fluid."

yeah try checking the plugs and wires and make sure they are good and all of them are connected together, then check the distributor and if that aint helpin than u need to seek a professional help. a missfire could be cause d by alot of things

Also, don't forget to check your spark plug bearings and your connecting rod gaskets while you change the crankshaft springs in your transmission housing.
EDIT: I have a lot of free time. Can you tell?
