what you think about these seats. good bad any one have a pair of these. Its gonna go into a 96 silver civic hatch back with full mugen body kit and soon to be rota C'8

Look at his list of mods. Its entirely full of knock offs. I doubt he cares about quality, just the look. His car will be Mugen Style powered.

And just from the pictures of those seats, the wrap isn't even tight.... which hints at the low quality you'll get elsewhere on them.

look at the seat it self very poorly made, do you see how it isn't even streched tight at all so it will look like total *** in about half a year, they arn't real the company should be sued for copyright infringment, just another ghey looking poorly made crappy knockoff seat.

ya i'm a broke @$$ kid that just moved out on his own trying to hook up my car at the same time. I have a fake mugen body kit cause i can't see spending $1300 just for teh front bumper when i can get a whole body kit and wing for the price of just the real mugen wing. I just need some kinda raceing seat cause ek seat suck. what other seats could i get for around $400 for the pair? If any one could show me some links or pics of decent seats i would realy appreciate it.

 

Light glow is making a new racing seat thats is really dope. two seats and rails for your whip for 500.00. They replicate the tenzo r Type R. You could always get those.

 

how about usdm itr seats..you can usually find those for 500-600 bucks ...dont buy cheap knockoff parts...i bought spoon knockoff strut bars for my car and it pisses me off everytime i look at them...one day ill have some nice strut bars ..the point is dont buy cheap **** cause its cheaply made cheap looking and that makes you look cheap..chicks dont dig cheap guys..lol

Just pick up a set of del sol seats for a couple hundred bucks from a junkyard.

 

del sols= cheap and pretty comfortable.

I just picked up a pair of Del Sol seats for 100 bucks locally.

A strut bar is a strut bar is a strut bar.... Paint it gunmetal or bronze and you have an official JDM strut bar. As long as it doesn't bend(which mine didn't), it does the same thing. Rock the Ebay mods for all their worth while your broke. When you can afford 200 for ONE piece of aluminum to bridge your strut towers, then go for it.

don't listen to everyone sayin 'oh those are cheep knockoffs'. building up your car is probably a hobby just like everyone else here. You don't need to go around and try to impress everyone. Do what you can afford.....the rota C 8's are sick by the way!! i'm ordering mine up soon to. I personally dont give a damn if people call them knockoffs. if they wanna be dumbasses and go spend 400 on ea wheel, just becasue they have a lil mugen logo on the lip, go ahead and be my guest. In the mean time i'll be rollin my rims and usin the extra 1200 bucks i saved and invest in my block... come race me bitch

what seats can u get for $400??? del Sol seats... i didn't read the WHOLE thread so i'm sure someone had to have already said that, but i'm saying it again.

since u asked for opinions on the mugen knock off seats... they're appear to have terrible construction and the wrap is pathetic. do as you wish with your car, but since you asked, that's what i think.

 

your money, your car...i would rather see one in person though before buying them so you can be sure rather than assuming from i picture...good luck with your project...

 

its all good i asked for opinians so i aint gonna get all mad and bent out of shape because some are ragging on them. I just figured i already have the fake mugen things going i should have just gotten the fake seats to match. I just wanted something with some good side support. I figuired i dropped all my money into the motor swap that i just got that a cheap set of seats would hold me in fine.
