hondata basemap vs. fmu

who would use the hondata basemap over the fmu? is it safe to run the basemap? i can afford the basemap but not the t00n til a month later. thankz

Depends on how far your setup is from what the basemap is designed for. If it's close, you should be fine for daily driving, just try to stay out of boost.
